Cloud Phone: Receive real SMS and MMS messages in Fake Data Ultra only

Sometimes, the forms that you are working on have a phone number verification where you are asked to type a code received as a text message on your phone. In order to prevent you from receiving a lot of text messages and fill your SMS inbox with tests, Fake Data offers you a dedicated phone number that can receive text messages.

In order to start using this feature and have the phone number generator fill the Cloud Phone dedicated to your account, follow these steps:

  • Open Fake Data's options page.
  • Go to Generators -> Default Generators.
  • Next to the phone generator, open the dropdown from the right side and choose the Cloud Phone Numbers option.
  • Once finished, press the Save button at the bottom of the page.

Now everytime you fill a form input with a phone number, Fake Data will insert the number that belongs to your account.

TIP

Keep in mind that you get only one phone number attached to your account, and it will not change regardless of how many times you use it. The messages received by it are private and only you can read them, which is an advantage over other similar online services.
